Father Engagement is designed to strengthen the relationship between fathers and their children by encouraging healthy involvement, improving communication, and helping fathers develop the confidence and parenting skills needed to become active, positive influences in their children’s lives.
At Lotus Family Services, we believe that children thrive when they have meaningful, consistent, and supportive relationships with both parents whenever it is safe and appropriate. Our Father Engagement Program works collaboratively with fathers to build stronger family connections while promoting the emotional, social, and developmental well-being of children.

What Is Father Engagement?
Father Engagement is a family-centered service designed to help fathers become more actively involved in the lives of their children through education, coaching, support, and practical skill development. The program focuses on improving parenting abilities while strengthening communication between fathers, children, caregivers, and other professionals involved in supporting the family. Rather than concentrating on past challenges, our professionals work with fathers to identify strengths, develop healthy parenting strategies, and create positive opportunities for meaningful family involvement.
This service aligns with the Indiana Department of Child Services standards by promoting healthy father-child relationships, strengthening parenting capacity, encouraging positive family interactions, and supporting long-term family stability.
