Career - Therapy Position

We are growing at Lotus Family Services, LLC! We are searching for part-time and full-time home-based therapists to provide our clients with family-focused therapy that improves family functioning.    The ideal applicant will hold an MSW, MHC, or MFT; be licensed and preferred, at least one year of experience working with children and families. The applicant should juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the profession's high standards and organization. The successful applicants should work independently and efficiently and quickly adapt to change while remaining focused on helping families achieve results. 

Therapy  

• Assess the initial and ongoing needs of individuals and the family to determine appropriate and actionable goals
• Provide counseling to families, including parents and children of all ages – to achieve client-centered results 
• Proactively guide clients to engage in meaningful change using evidence-based counseling methods 
• Establish and maintain rapport with clients, communicating clearly and directly that is rooted in respect and compassion
• Communicate with schools, Department of Child Services, treatment team, and other professionals involved in clients' cases in an efficient, timely, and appropriate fashion
• Thoroughly and accurately complete monthly reports and documentation of all contacts with family and related persons 

• Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy
• Current Indiana Licensure
• Understanding of matters facing children and families with a history of abuse and neglect
• Knowledge of family dynamics and basic skills in family counseling
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organization & time management skills
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license with good insurance
